Woo at the Zoo Event Offers a Memorable Valentine’s Day Experience at the Birmingham Zoo

On February 13, 2016, the Birmingham Zoo invites guests ages 21 and up to its third annual Valentine’s Day event, “Woo at the Zoo,” from 5:30-8 PM. The event will feature desserts, wine, giveaways and exclusive animal greetings upon arrival in the auditorium.

During the event, the Zoo’s experienced staff will lead engaging expositions on “love” in the wild. The topics will explore courtship of different animals and anatomical diversities. Woo at the Zoo is designed for those seeking an enriching and unique experience on Valentine’s Day, setting this day apart from other Valentine’s Day formalities. Animal advocates and romance enthusiasts alike will be excited to attend this love-themed event at the Birmingham Zoo.

New this year, the event will feature a wildly entertaining presentation by Chris DeLorey, also known as “Dr. Dino.” This presentation on Rex Sex…When the Earth Really Moved is sure to get guests excited for Dino Discovery – They’re Back, the Zoo’s newest exhibit that will open in March.

Tickets are $50 and $75 for Zoo Member individuals and couples, respectively, $65 for non-member individuals and $90 for non-member couples.
