We are excited to offer a learning and discovery experience designed specifically for homeschool students in 1st through 12th Grades!
1st – 4th: These enjoyable and educational classes include live animal demonstrations, interactive discussions, hands-on nature exploration, and guided tours of the Zoo*. Our program is designed to supplement your home curriculum by creating connections with science and the natural world in an engaging and interactive environment.
Each class expands upon another and information will be incorporated as we introduce new topics. While our classes focus primarily on concepts from life science, ecology, and environmental science, we will also incorporate math, engineering, language arts, social studies, art, and Nature Play as appropriate. In each class, we promote 21st Century Skills, including critical thinking, collaboration and teamwork, creativity, imagination, and problem-solving.
Registration is for a full year of monthly classes from September to April.
Middle and High School: These unique and exclusive workshops include inquiry-based demonstrations, interactive discussions, and guided and behind-the-scenes tours of the Zoo.
