Visit the Birmingham Zoo for Endangered Species Day!

On May 20, the Birmingham Zoo invites our community to Party for the Planet in celebration of Endangered Species Day. This fun-filled educational event will take you around the zoo to learn about how our Zoo works to save species with zoos, aquariums, and partners around the world through AZA’s Saving Animals From Extinction (SAFE) programs. The event will feature stations highlighting SAFE Species programs throughout the Zoo where visitors will learn about how your Birmingham Zoo is protecting animals in their native habitats and ways you can help endangered species from right here at home. All Endangered Species Day activities are free with paid admission to the Zoo.
