With football season almost here, it is time to come Meet the Mascots at your Birmingham Zoo. Several of them have real life animals at the Zoo. Activities will be in the Children’s Zoo area. This is a rain or shine event.
Here is a preliminary list of mascots participating:
10:00 to 11:00 a.m.- Big Al (University of Alabama), Cocky (Jacksonville State) and Stinger (Alabama State)
11:00 a.m. to Noon – Stanley (Stallions) and Noigel (Legion)
Noon to 1:00 p.m. – Briarwood Lions, Gardendale Rockets and Pelham Panthers.
Mascots from across Alabama were invited. Aubie, unfortunately had a conflict. We are waiting to confirm others and will update the list regularly.
