CHASE PRESENTS HOOTS & HOWLS AT THE BIRMINGHAM ZOO THIS OCTOBER

August 25, 2025 – BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Birmingham Zoo is thrilled to announce Chase as the new presenting sponsor of Hoots & Howls, the Zoo’s beloved daytime Halloween event for everyone. With Chase on board, guests can expect double the candy and more magical moments than ever before!

Hoots & Howls 2025 will take place over the last three weekends in October:
October 11–12, 18–19, and 25–26
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily

Thanks to the generous support of Chase, Hoots & Howls is expanding with:
– 10 candy stations throughout the Zoo – more than twice as many as last year
– Magic shows featuring Lathan’s Dazzling Magic at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.

– Interactive animal shows at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Gigi’s Porch in Alabama Wilds
– A high-energy Monster Mash dance party following the popular costume parade and contest at noon.
– DJs from Feel the Beat spinning spooky tunes all day on Henley Lawn
– Lawn games and plenty of photo ops

“This year, we’ve kept your favorite activities, doubled the candy, and added new surprises, all thanks to Chase,” said Chris Pfefferkorn, President & CEO of the Birmingham Zoo. “We’re excited to welcome Chase as a new neighbor in Lane Park and proud to have them as the presenting sponsor of not only Hoots & Howls, but also our winter favorite, Glow Wild.”

Chase is equally excited to join the fun.

Event admission is included with your Zoo ticket. Guests can enhance their experience with a $12.95 Candy Trail wristband, which includes:

• Access to all candy stations
• Unlimited rides on the Red Diamond Express Train
• Unlimited climbs on the Full Moon BBQ Adventure Tower

Tickets just to the candy trail stations but not the train or tower are available for $4.95.

Don’t forget to vote for your favorite community scarecrows, displayed throughout the Zoo during the event!
