9:30 a.m. – Story Time at GiGi’s Porch in Alabama Wilds

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Lorikeet feedings *

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Contact Yard at Alabama Wilds

10:00 to 11:30 a.m. – Kiwanis Giraffe Encounter *

10:30 a.m. – Reptile Feedings/Keeper Chat

10:30 a.m. – Tour with Dino Guide leaving from Plaza at Main Entrance

11:15 a.m.  – Ambassador Animal Chat – GiGi’s Porch in Alabama Wilds

11:45 a.m. – Cougar Crossing Keeper Chat

1:00 to 2:30 p.m. – Kiwanis Giraffe Encounter *

1:00 p.m. – Elephant Keeper Chat

1:30 p.m. – Lion Keeper Chat

1:3o a.m. – Tour with Dino Guide leaving from Plaza at Main Entrance

2:00 p.m. – Primate/South America Keeper Chat

2:15 p.m. – Ambassador Animals – GiGi’s Porch in Alabama Wilds

All activities are subject to weather, staffing, facilities, and animal welfare needs. The Splash Pads in the Children’s Zoo area will be open when the weather is warmer between May 15 and September and is also subject to weather. Activities with * are an additional fee.

Rides

Ride tickets are sold in the gift shop or anywhere concessions are sold within the Zoo. All rides are weather and staffing permitting and are subject to change.

CLOSED Attraction

Carousel closed for refurbishment and will return later in 2026.

• Family PLUS Member update! 

  • Our Family PLUS membership is still unavailable at this time. Per the feedback we’ve received from you in person and through our recent annual survey, we are working hard to make improvements to our attractions and their consistent availability in order to bring this membership type back to you in the future.

• Ride tickets are for daytime operation only and are not valid for special events

  • One ticket per person per ride, ages 2 years and up.
  • Children under 2 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult on the train and carousel.
  • Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult chaperone on the train.
  • Children must be 42″ to ride the new Adventure Tower.

• Limited Capacity & Cleaning

  • The train and carousel will be operating at limited capacity to ensure riders are at safe distance from one another.
  • In addition, the train and carousel will be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned after each ride.

• PLEASE NOTE

  • Ride tickets are non-refundable but are date-transferable up to one year after the purchase date.
  • Zoo Discounts for rides cannot be combined with any additional coupons, specials, or offers.
