The Birmingham Zoo is excited to partner with the Birmingham Audubon Society for the annual Great Backyard Bird Count. Before the Zoo opens, Alabama Audubon will lead a birding walk through the Zoo. From 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., join the Birmingham Zoo’s animal care and education staff to learn all about your backyard birds and what makes them special. Fun and educational activities sure to excite any bird enthusiast will be hosted throughout the Alabama Wilds section of the Zoo and free to all zoo guests.
Please Note: Educational activities are free to all zoo guests. Zoo guests must be an active member of The Birmingham Zoo or must purchase a zoo ticket to participate.
