While the Birmingham Zoo will be celebrating its 70th birthday all year long, below are some tips to help you make the most out of your visit. This spring and summer the Birmingham Zoo will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Beginning, Saturday, March 22, here are some key times throughout the day to meet the zookeepers and their amazing animals. Additional popup experiences happen throughout the day so keep an eye out and enjoy your visit. Listings with * charge an additional fee.
9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. – Red Diamond Express Train*
9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. – Full Moon Bar-B-Que Adventure Tower*
