Birmingham Zoo Hosts Annual La Celebración Event for Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Birmingham Zoo is hosting its annual La Celebración event on Sunday, October 6 from 10:00am until 2:00pm. This event will celebrate the culture of Birmingham’s growing Hispanic and Latino community and is presented by Abogados Centro Legal.

Animals of Central and South America will be featured through bilingual keeper chats, animal encounters, and other activities throughout the Zoo. Guests are invited to come and enjoy special enrichment for the animals, music, kids activities and more! This event is in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, but also a welcoming event for all parts of the Birmingham community.

This rain or shine event is included in admission for Zoo guests and free to Zoo Members!
