Saturday The Birmingham Zoo Celebrates 4th Annual Fairytales & Frogs Day

On Saturday, August 17 the Birmingham Zoo invites princes, princesses and all other fairytale characters to join us from 10am until 2pm for a fun-filled, royal celebration at our fourth annual Fairytales & Frogs Day! The event will be held in the Children’s Zoo. Festivities are free for Members or with paid admission to the Zoo.

Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume for the magical day where fairytales come alive. All royal subjects attending will receive a crown (while supplies last). Guests will have the chance to meet, greet and take photos with various costumed characters. Special appearances for the event include The Enchanted Princesses and Miss Alabama, Tiara Pennington.

Fairytales and Frogs Day will host special keeper chats and animal demonstrations, arts & crafts, and face painting. Guests will enjoy plenty of games and cooling off in the Splash Pads, so don’t forget to bring your towel!
