Wildlife Photography Exhibit : Meet & Greet

In conjunction with our current wildlife photography exhibition, Wildlife in Focus,  the Birmingham Zoo welcomes you to a meet and greet for award winning wildlife photographer Lindsay Donald!

 

Join us on Friday, November 9 from 5:30p to 7:30p at the Birmingham Zoo Predator Building located in the Zoo’s Predator Zone. View the exhibition, mingle, and meet photographer Lindsay Donald.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here.

*Please note: the Birmingham Zoo’s Predator Building will be the only area accessible for the event. Animals may or may not be visible.

 

ABOUT LINDSAY DONALD
Lindsay Donald is an award winning wildlife photographer. He has a degree in Zoology from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. Donald started taking photographs to illustrate animal behavior for a research project in the late 1970’s. Since then he has traveled the world taking amazing pictures. In North America he travels from Florida to Alaska and makes frequent visits to Africa including Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe & Zambia. Donald also teaches wildlife photography techniques here at Birmingham Zoo.

Recently Donald’s photograph titled “In the Heat of Battle” was awarded the National Parks Wildlife Photograph of 2018. Donald lives in Hoover, Alabama with his wife Lorraine and three rescued golden retrievers Bentley, Cooper & Maggie Mae.
