Wildlife Photography Exhibition : Lindsay Donald

Join us for an amazing photography exhibition, open NOW at the Birmingham Zoo! Our Wildlife Photography Exhibition features award winning wildlife photos from renowned photographer Lindsay Donald.

 

DATES

COST
The exhibition is included with Zoo admission.

WHERE
Birmingham Zoo Predator Building located in the Zoo’s Predator Zone.

TIME
The exhibition is viewable during regular Zoo hours. Current hours are based on our Boo at the Zoo event of 9am-4pm.

 

ABOUT LINDSAY DONALD
Lindsay Donald is an award winning wildlife photographer. He has a degree in Zoology from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. Donald started taking photographs to illustrate animal behavior for a research project in the late 1970’s. Since then he has traveled the world taking amazing pictures. In North America he travels from Florida to Alaska and makes frequent visits to Africa including Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe & Zambia. Donald also teaches wildlife photography techniques here at Birmingham Zoo.

Recently Donald’s photograph titled “In the Heat of Battle” was awarded the National Parks Wildlife Photograph of 2018. Donald lives in Hoover, Alabama with his wife Lorraine and three rescued golden retrievers Bentley, Cooper & Maggie Mae.
