Mother’s Day Weekend at the Birmingham Zoo

On Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14, families can enjoy a free child’s admission ticket to the Birmingham Zoo with the purchase of a full-price adult admission ticket (offer exclusive only on Mother’s Day Weekend). Guests can set “rail” on the Zoo’s all-new Pirate Train Ride*, feed the lorikeets in the Schaeffer Eye Center Lorikeet Aviary*, glide through Alabama Wilds on the Jane H. Brock Soaring Safari Zipline Adventure*, see a new Schaeffer Eye Center Wildlife show, ride the Full Moon Bar-B-Que Wild Slide*, take a spin on the Protective Life Carousel*, and so much more. In addition to the admission special, Saturday, May 13 the Birmingham Zoo is hosting the inaugural Jaguar Land Rover Birmingham Magic City Wine Fest from 5:30 to 8:30pm. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Birmingham Zoo. Jaguar Land Rover Birmingham Magic City Wine Fest is modeled after the Wine on the River Nashville event, now in its 15^th year. The “World Tour” theme will highlight wines from various regions across the globe and feature hundreds of varietals of wine for drinking.
