Veterans Day Weekend at the Zoo

In honor of Veterans Day, all veterans, active and retired military and their dependents will receive free admission to the Birmingham Zoo on Friday, November 11, Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13. To be eligible for free admission, guests must show proof of military service by presenting a valid military identification card, dependent identification card or driver’s license with veteran’s designation. Veterans Day activities include a chance to see the Zoo’s new American alligators, explore animals native to the state in Alabama Wilds, up-close encounters with the lions in the Predator Zone, see a sea lion training demonstration, ride the train* and carousel* and much more.
