Celebrate the Zoo’s 60th Anniversary at ZooGala 2015: Birmingham Zoo’s Largest Fundraising Event

On Friday, September 18, the Birmingham Zoo will host its largest annual fundraising event, ZooGala 2015, sponsored by IBERIABANK, a partner of the Birmingham Zoo since 2003. This annual affair will be held in the Zoo’s signature exhibit, Trails of Africa. Guests are invited to mingle and enjoy dinner and dessert by Kathy G. & Company. ZooGala will be celebrating the Zoo’s 60^th Anniversary with entertainment and stunning décor. The event will feature live stage entertainment by Compozitionz, a silent auction with fabulous trips and Zoo packages and jewelry for sale by Empire Diamond Corporation. Throughout the evening, guests can look forward to animal walkabouts and view the African elephants in their habitat.

This year’s Chairs are Lynn Cassady, Lucy Daniel and Kathryn Eckert. Honorary chairs are Emily and Bill Bowron. This year the Zoo will offer two ticket levels: the Patron Level at $600 per couple includes two tickets to the Patron/VIP Party, which starts at 6:00pm, and a Friends Level at $250 per couple, which includes two tickets to the event at 8:00pm. Both levels will enjoy dinner, drinks and dancing. ZooGala proceeds benefit the Birmingham Zoo’s animal care and educational programs, furthering its mission of “Inspiring Passion for the Natural World.” Guests must be 21 years or older.
