It is time to celebrate Easter at “Eggstravaganza” at the Birmingham Zoo on Saturday, March 31 from 10am-12:30pm.
More than 10,000 eggs will be hidden in the Zoo’s new green space, Henley Park, for one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in the area. There will be four different hunts offered, as well as a special egg hunt for adults only. The children’s hunts are free for Zoo members and included in admission for non-members. Adult egg hunt winners can walk away with special Zoo tours, memberships and a variety of prizes all valued at $50 or more. The adult egg hunt is $25 to participate and tickets are available at www.birminghamzoo.com.
One of the highlights of the day is a visit from the Easter Bunny, who along with his friends, will be strolling the Zoo and taking pictures with guests. Guests are invited to kick-off the celebrations at “Breakfast with the Bunny” at 7:30am (the 9am seating is sold out). This event in the Zoo’s new restaurant, Nourish 205, includes a delicious scrambled egg and sausage breakfast with orange juice and coffee, followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny. All children receive a special present upon arrival and can enjoy making an Easter-themed craft.
Breakfast with the Bunny member pricing is $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and non-members are $30 for adults and $25 for kids. The pricing includes Zoo admission, unlimited ride wristband, breakfast, and activities.
