Giving ZooDay

The Birmingham Zoo is inviting the community to give back on Tuesday, November 29 as part of Giving ZooDay in collaboration with Giving Tuesday. Giving ZooDay is a chance to demonstrate support for zoos working to preserve wildlife for generations to come.  As part of Giving ZooDay, each individual who gives a gift of $100 or more to support the Asian Passage exhibit will receive a tiger fact sheet, a tiger magnet and a plush tiger. To learn more, visit www.birminghamzoo.com/get-involved/donate/capital-campaign/ or www.givingzooday.org.

The Birmingham Zoo has been building memories for over 60 years. People in the community can travel the world without leaving Birmingham while developing an appreciation and respect for nature. The Zoo is in the final phase of an $18 million capital campaign to build a new front entrance, plaza and park area, along with the new Asian Passage exhibit. Currently, the Zoo is in the public phase raising the last $1.2 million. The Zoo is thankful for the support of the community, and invites everyone to Renew the Zoo, especially during Giving ZooDay.
