You don't have to travel far and wide to learn about animals - just head down to the farm! The 5th annual Harvest Days in the Children's Zoo will be your chance to enjoy a harvest celebration complete with music, square dancers, line dancers, quilters, crafts, wood cutter, story time on Grandma's Back Porch, weavers, Elvis impersonator, pottery & clay demonstrations, games, face painting, cow milking and Cherokee Indian drum demonstrations.

Looking for a new way to unwind after work? Join us on Thursday, September 27 from 6-9 p.m. as The New 94.5 FM and Yellowtail present "Wine Down at the Zoo"! Featuring the music of Ryan Kinder, the delectable taste of A Social Affair, Twilight Tours, animal walk abouts and the wines of Yellow Tail available at the cash bar.

Enjoy the zoo at night in this exciting overnight experience for children 5 and older and their parents. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

During the program, you will see an animal show, go on a carousel ride, eat a snack, and go on a night tour of the zoo after dark.

All you need to bring is a sleeping bag, a flashlight, a change of clothes, and any toiletries you need for the night. A snack during the evening and breakfast will be provided. Please eat dinner before you arrive. The Zoo Snooze will take place in the Children’s Zoo, where families will sleep out under the stars. Participants are welcome to bring their own tents, as long as they are free-standing. No stakes are permitted. Cost is $25 per person. Please call 205.397.3864 to reserve your spot today!
