Enjoy a day of screeching, squawking and roaring! Join us for a FREE DAY at the Zoo. Free admission to the public, complimentary Wildlife Shows and free fish food (while supplies last). PLUS, visit our newest arrivals: Rowan, the baby giraffe and Kwanza, the baby lion.

See the web of life animal show, ride the carousel, take a night-time tour, sleep under the stars or your own tent and enjoy a continental breakfast at our Member's Only Zoo Snooze. A Parent/Guardian must accompany all minor children to Zoo Snoozes. You must have one chaperone for every five campers under the age of 18. Zoo Members Only. Call 397.3864 for reservations. Wear your spookiest costume for the 15th Annual Boo at the Zoo! Make your way through safe trick-or-treat zones, organized by local non-profits and child-centered businesses. Check your appetite at the GORE-may Buffet, shiver your timbers at the Pirate Cove Alabama barn and be sure to check out the spookiest grave yard at Boo-terflies! Animal exhibits will be closed for Boo at the Zoo. The Zoo closes at 4 pm on the nights of Boo at the Zoo.

Protective Life Corporation presents Symphony Spooktacular
October 29, 2:30 pm

Enjoy a FREE* admission day (9 to 4 pm) at the Zoo and a complimentary family concert (weather permitting) from the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. Be at the Zoo early for a fun day of exploration. Join us at 2 pm for a costume contest in the Special Events area then spread out your blanket and relax with your little goblins for a Halloween concert at 2:30 pm!
