Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be at the Zoo when the animals wake up? Well, now you can! Join us in the Children's Zoo for special keeper talk and personal animal interactions from 8 am to 9:15. Next, enjoy breakfast in the Kudzoo Cafe. Then, after breakfast, explore the Zoo!

King Kwanza Day This Saturday!

He just can’t wait to be king - come prowl around with Kwanza, the Zoo’s new African lion, as he enjoys a meat-sicle and zebra piñata in his new digs. Meet one of the keepers as they tell you everything you wanted to know about our new lion!

Education Open House-
all things educationally fun!

1 pm to 4 pm
The Education Department staff will highlight classes, camps, programs, teacher resources, ZooSnoozes, homeschool program and adult and teen volunteer programs. Located in the Education building (near the Children's Zoo barn), this will open your eyes to the many things the Education Department has to offer! Refreshments will be available.
