ZOO SNOOZE OVERNIGHTS

TWILIGHT TOURS

 

Have you ever wondered what happens at the Zoo late at night?  Venture into the unknown during a Zoo Snooze overnight program and you'll discover amazing animals that share the nightlife in the Birmingham Zoo!  A roaring African Lion tells you this isn’t an ordinary slumber party! 

This overnight adventure begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends the next morning at 7 a.m.  However, all participants get free passes to visit the zoo the day following the snooze (passes are only valid for the day immediately following the snooze).  

Participants will have a unique experience followed by camping out under the stars.  Zoo Snoozes include a live animal encounter, an awesome activity, an exciting night tour of the Zoo, carousel ride and a break time for snacks (you bring the snacks).  In the morning, after packing up, a continental breakfast will be served for all participants. 

Dinner: Our Kudzoo Cafe can provide a group meal for you from pizzas, pastas, hamburgers, and more. Just let us know if you would like to purchase a group meal.

Who can come?

Any educational, scout, church, birthday party group, and other organized groups may come. All campers must be 5 years old or older. Each program is designed for a group of children of similar age. Activities are age-appropriate. You must have one chaperone for every five campers under the age of 18. A minimum number of 15 participants is required to schedule a Zoo Snooze.

When are Zoo Snoozes?

Please call for available dates. The program begins at 7:00 pm in the evening and concludes at 7:00 pm the next morning. This is a very popular program, so call today to secure your spot.

All of the fun of a Zoo Snooze, but the program ends around 10:00 pm. Includes animal encounter, carousel ride, activity, and a night tour around the zoo. This program is available Monday - Sunday nights.
