Holiday with the Animals

Come join Birmingham Zoo to celebrate Holiday with the Animals. Watch the animals open specially made presents from the keepers and volunteers. There will also be many kids’ activities such as making bird treats in Alabama Wilds, making puzzle feeders for one of your favorite animals and much more! Please come help the animals celebrate the holidays early! Included with price of regular Zoo admission.

Interactive Activities for Children
(All activities will be located in the Children’s Zoo)

• Learn how to make puzzle treats for your pets at home
  
• compare hand and feet sizes to a Gorilla and get a paper cut out to take home
  
• See how far you can jump compared to one of your favorite animals
  
• Make treats to hang for wild birds
  
• Learn about enrichment and how keepers use it at the “Enrichment Station”
  
• Play “guess who’s diet” at the Animal Nutrition Station
